Who We Are

Eita Charity Organization provides emergency relief to those struck by conflict, disaster — working with them to recover, rebuild and gain the skills and tools required for self-reliance. After the emergency has passed, we shift from emergency response to long-term capacity building support and training. We provide resources and training to help communities provide a range of services — including food, water and sanitation and educational support and more.

“A strong, connected community where every person has equitable access to resources, opportunities, and support to achieve their fullest potential.”

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To strengthen and support our community by delivering accessible programs, building partnerships, and fostering inclusive spaces that promote education, health, and social well-being for all residents.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

The foundation upon which our vision and mission stand, guiding every decision we make and action we take.

Our Focus Areas

We concentrate our efforts across three core pillars that form the backbone of our programs and reflect our commitment to comprehensive, sustainable development for Sudanese communities.

  • Youth Development: We invest in youth potential through vocational training programs, mentorship, and leadership development. We believe that young people are the drivers of positive change in their communities.
  • Food Security: We work to ensure everyone has access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food through school nutrition programs, agricultural support, and food basket distributions.
  • Cultural Programs: We preserve cultural heritage and strengthen local identity through cultural events, cultural exchange programs, and support for traditional arts.

Our Delivery Method

Our work is built on three foundational pillars that ensure our impact reaches as many beneficiaries as possible with the highest efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Volunteer Initiatives: Our work relies on the power of committed volunteers who drive change on the ground. We believe that volunteering is the strongest means of building resilient communities.
  • Community Organizing: We work from the ground up, engaging local communities at every stage of planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: We collaborate with local and international organizations, government, and the private sector to maximize impact and avoid duplication of efforts.
